Tom Ehlers–President and Founder
Tom graduated from Princeton University and completed Princeton’s Teacher Preparation Program. He has spent the last 15 years developing effective teaching methods and learning techniques that have helped thousands of students significantly raise their college admissions test scores. He has worked as an educational consultant with school districts across the country and advises them on ways to improve the districts’ college admission test scores. Tom’s online products are currently used by thousands of students to build their math, reading, and writing skills and prepare for a variety of exams.
Frank McWilliams–Vice President Sales and Marketing
Since joining Method Test Prep in 2005, Frank has helped hundreds of schools raise their students’ ACT and SAT scores. He has worked with private, public, charter, international, and online schools to provide affordable, high quality, and easy to use ACT and SAT prep. Frank understands the challenges that educators face, from time constraints to budget concerns, and works diligently to meet their needs. When not helping schools with test prep, Frank enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, boating, and fishing. In 1998 Frank graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Bryan Ziegler–Vice President of Operations
Bryan is originally from Long Island, NY. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1999 with a BS in Political Science. After college, Bryan moved to Colorado and has been there ever since. In 2005 Bryan joined Method Test Prep and helped design and create Method Test Prep’s new SAT and ACT Method Programs. Bryan wears many hats at Method Test Prep but his overall responsibility is customer satisfaction and retention. Bryan works with schools to help them implement Method Test Prep programs and utilize them effectively in order to maximize results.
Evan Wessler–Vice President of Education
Evan graduated summa cum laude with a BS in biology from Bucknell University in 2009. After starting a graduate program in the bio medical sciences at Harvard University, he decided instead to pursue an opportunity with Method Test Prep. Since coming aboard, Evan’s responsibilities have included educational content development, teaching, training and hiring tutors, expanding the reach of Method Test Prep’s private tutoring services, helping to develop and coordinate Method Test Prep’s in-school prep courses, and managing Method Test Prep’s team of instructors. When not dissecting standardized tests, Evan enjoys writing, playing tennis, running, listening to jazz, and playing his guitar.
Nancy Daves–Vice President of Customer Relations
Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. Before joining the Method Test Prep team, she spent several years working for a large school district in south Houston as the college counselor. The school district was a Naviance and Method Test Prep user, giving Nancy an opportunity to become familiar with both programs. Not only did she work individually with students on these programs, but she was also responsible for training other district personnel on use. In Nancy’s role as an Account Executive with Method Test Prep, she works closely with clients on providing support to ensure schools are able to maximize usage of the program. Having been a former Method Test Prep client herself, Nancy has a unique perspective that allows her to understand a school’s needs.
Jason Markowitz–Director of Tutoring
Since graduating from Tufts University, Jason Markowitz has been committed to teaching and is especially passionate about helping students raise their college admissions test scores. As Method Test Prep’s Director of Tutoring, he has taken on several vital roles within the company. He recruits and trains current and prospective tutors in the most effective teaching techniques, has developed comprehensive strategy guides for all sections of the SAT, and manages the company’s relationships with Long Island schools. Jason’s work is guided above all by the conviction that success on the SAT and ACT is attainable to every student willing to work diligently towards this goal.
Stephanie Brewer–Senior Account Executive
Stephanie has many years experience in the oil & gas, retail, food and hospitality industries with an emphasis on marketing, sales, training and customer satisfaction. The majority of her professional work experience has been in progressive marketing, sales and administrative roles and she has extensive experience supporting CEO’s and other high-level executives planning events and meetings. Stephanie has written for E&P Magazine and has assisted many Oil and Gas companies through online subscriptions, client requests, conference planning, research, contract procurement, direct marketing, mailings and dispersion of information to members. Stephanie attended the University of Texas in Austin and received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in English with a minor in European Studies. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys traveling with friends and family, snowboarding and playing volleyball. She enjoys volunteering as a lifetime committeeman for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
