Tom Ehlers

TomTom graduated from Princeton University and completed Princeton’s Teacher Preparation Program. He has spent the last 15 years developing effective teaching methods and learning techniques that have helped thousands of students significantly raise their college admissions test scores.  He has worked as an educational consultant with school districts across the country and advises them on ways to improve the districts’ college admission test scores.  Tom’s online products are currently used by thousands of students to build their math, reading, and writing skills and prepare for a variety of exams.

Elliot Bock 


Elliot has been working with students for years to help them prepare for the SAT and ACT. He joined Method Test Prep in 2011 to help bring the techniques taught by himself and others of MTP to a worldwide audience via live, online classes. In addition to working daily with students and schools to help raise test scores, Elliot is responsible for overseeing the quality of instruction of the online classes and helping students get access to the best instructors, regardless of location. Elliot graduated from Brown University in 2007 with a degree in Mathematical Economics. In his free time he enjoys traveling and playing ultimate frisbee.



Evan Wessler

Evan W.Evan graduated summa cum laude with a BS in biology from Bucknell University in 2009. After starting a graduate program in the biomedical sciences at Harvard University, he decided instead to pursue an opportunity with Method Test Prep. Since coming aboard, Evan’s responsibilities have included educational content development, teaching, training and hiring tutors, expanding the reach of Method Test Prep’s private tutoring services, helping to develop and coordinate Method Test Prep’s in-school prep courses, and managing Method Test Prep’s team of instructors. When not dissecting standardized tests, Evan enjoys writing, playing tennis, running, listening to jazz, and playing his guitar.


Andrew Peterson

AndrewAndrew graduated from Colby College in 2008 with a BA in Economics and Administrative Science.  After college, Andrew worked in the public school system, focusing primarily on small group Special Education.  Looking for a greater challenge, and a way to parlay his skilled small group instruction, Andrew joined Method Test Prep in 2011.  In addition to working with high school students on a private and semi-private basis to help them increase their test scores, Andrew works to develop and improve Method Test Prep’s tutoring curriculum to ensure that every tutor at Method Test Prep continues to have the skills and resources necessary to make a profound difference in the test performance of each and every student.  Outside of the classroom, Andrew enjoys traveling, swimming, listening to music and watching Jeopardy!



Jason Markowitz

JMSince graduating from Tufts University, Jason Markowitz has been committed to teaching and is especially passionate about helping students raise their college admissions test scores.  As Method Test Prep’s Director of Tutoring, he has taken on several vital roles within the company.  He recruits and trains current and prospective tutors in the most effective teaching techniques, has developed comprehensive strategy guides for all sections of the SAT, and manages the company’s relationships with Long Island schools.  Jason’s work is guided above all by the conviction that success on the SAT and ACT is attainable to every student willing to work diligently towards this goal.
